I wanted to share my experiences while taking the COVID-19 Vaccine.
Jun 4, 2021
I started walking from my home to the local Walmart for my vaccine appointment at 1 PM. They verified the information and took my temperature. Then, I was told that I will be administered MODERNA vaccine as I chose to take the Moderna vaccine. The lady requested that I be seated in the designated spot and will be administered the vaccine shortly.
After 5 minutes, another lady greeted me and cleaned my arm. She then, informed me that I might have mild pain, or headache and I could take Tylenol if required.
Later, she administered the 1st dose of vaccine on my left arm (as I preferred) and requested me to be seated in the waiting area for 15 minutes of observation for any reactions.
I went to the waiting area to sit down and started texting on phone :) and also took a call from my friend. :)
15 minutes was over and I informed the lady. She told me that I could leave.
I started walking towards my home as it was only 15 minutes from the place :)
Reached home and had a nice shower to resume my regular activities. I'm doing good so far and have not had any side effects. Will post later if I do.
I went for a walk in the evening around the neighborhood, had my dinner.
Stay tuned for more updates about the second dose! I will be taking it in early July.
