Spring is coming, and so do seasonal allergies...
I will be sharing simple Ayurvedic tips on how to prevent and manage spring allergies naturally based on different body types (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) + daily routines.
Ayurvedic Tips to Prevent Spring Allergies (Part 1 – For Everyone)
Spring allergies are mainly due to excess Kapha (mucus, heaviness) + weak digestion.
Try these simple daily tips:
• Drink warm water through the day
• Avoid cold foods, dairy, sugar, and fried food
• Start day with ginger or tulsi tea
• Do Neti (saline nasal rinse) to clear pollen & mucus
• Take ½ tsp turmeric + pinch black pepper + honey daily
• Exercise & sweat a little every day
• Avoid daytime sleeping
